EA has announced that Battlefield 4 will enter public beta on October 1st and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The publisher has also mentioned that the game, along with two other launch titles, will be available for the Xbox One starting November 19th and November 12th for PlayStation 4.
In the announcement, EA mentioned that the public beta will give players a chance to learn maps, unlock items and build stats ahead of the game’s official launch on October 29th. Players will be able to carry over their statistics and achievements from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in a one-time transfer.
Players can also upgrade their Xbox 360 or PS3 game to next-gen consoles for as low as $10. EA announced that those players that have signed up for Battlefield 4 Premium, pre-ordered Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe or purchased Medal of Honor: Warfighter deluxe or limited edition will be eligible for the exclusive beta of Battlefield 4 that will begin before the public beta.
Last week, EA confirmed the dates for three of its launch titles. Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4 will be available for the Xbox One on November 19th and the PlayStation 4 on November 12th.
