Most users in Asia and America have not heard of Be Quiet before; that is because is a company located in Germany and, for the time being, their exports to other markets are minimal. However, Be Quiet is one of the favorite power supply manufacturers amongst enthusiasts in Europe and for a very good reason, as their products rarely classify as merely “good”. Today we are having our first contact with the 10th revision of the Dark Power Pro series through a 550W unit, meant for everyday gaming and professional systems.

It was over a year ago when we reviewed the 9th revision of the same power supply, the Dark Power Pro P9 550W unit. Although the performance and quality of the 9th revision were excellent, the extremely high price of the unit would trouble any potential customer. The company however promised us that the 10th revision is considerably better in all aspects, including performance. Too good to be true? We will see about that in this review.
