German based Be Quiet!, well-known for its Pure Power series of PSUs, has announced the SilentWings PWM series of case fans. Featuring a screwless mounting system for easy installation, the fans have Copper-Core Fluid Dynamic Bearing (for longer service life of up to 300,000 hours) and an embedded PWM controller.

Available in sizes of 80mm, 92mm and 120mm, the speeds of the fans are dependent on the actual CPU load, up to a maximum speed of 2,000 rpm, 1,800 rpm and 1,500 rpm at 16.5 dBa, 17.5dBa and 18.5dBa respectively. Backed by a 3 years manufacturer's warranty, the fans are available in Europe from 11 to 14 EUR.

The unit can be mounted without screws, which both reduces vibrations (and lets the fan run more quietly) and makes it easy to mount, with no tools required.

• High-Airflow-Performance-Design

The fan blade design is so innovative that it has been registered under German law as a utility model. It ensures optimal air flow on both the front and back sides for quiet operation and optimal cooling performance

• Copper-Core FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing)
