LG Nexus4 White2 Behold the LG Nexus 4... in white

After teasing everyone for a rather long time, the white Nexus 4 is now official and will go on sale starting as soon as 29th May, i.e. tomorrow.

The long pending release of the elusive white Nexus 4 is finally official. The newly announced white color model is virtually identical to the present Google Nexus smartphone launched last year expect for the white fur that it dons on top. LG has pre-installed Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (as expected) on their updated Nexus and it doesn't look like the Korean company made any other hardware based revisions or changes to their White Knight, although we were really hoping to see some (but knew there wouldn't be any, this is simply a new paint job, not a new model).

As you can see, the internals are virtually unchanged. We really were hoping for a refresh than just a paint job, sadly that isn't the case here. Even the inclusion of the new Snapdragon 600 chipset and a 32 GB version would have been more than enough.

The White LG Nexus 4 goes on sale in Hong Kong starting tomorrow, with global rollout happening over the next couple of weeks. As usual, the new model will be on sale directly via Google Play Store (and as usual, will be out of stock almost immediately) for the same price as the original Black color model.
