Belkin unveils new brand identity and People-Inspired Products for 2012 in Singapore
At yesterday's event in Singapore, Belkin unveiled their new brand identity and new products for this year. The new products include the ScreenCast AV4 which lets you connect your home theatre equipment to your HDTV wirelessly, N900 Advanced dual-band N+ router, LiveAction Mic for the iPhone and other accessories.
At last month's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Belkin announced its new brand identity which promises the company's commitment to innovation and developing People-Inspired Products (PIP). PIP is also the new Belkin logo, an image made of nine dots to create a symbol of a person. And to achieve the promise of delivering PIP, the company is listening to customers and partners in the development and improvement of their products.
Kevin Gilmore, senior director for Belkin Asia Pacific, said that the interesting thing about the smartphone revolution is the accessories-based products. While it is good to have people showing off their products, the real challenge is varying these products; it is not just about covers, but how do one create accessories to handle devices like iPad and GALAXY Tab and make the experience much better.
Belkin also showcased their huge range of products under home entertainment, as well as iPhone 4S and iPad 2 solutions.
The Belkin N900 Advanced Wireless dual-band N+ router features improved gaming speeds, increased download speeds, fewer dead zones, multiple device connectivity and improved reach. It also supports many Wi-Fi devices and media intensive activies including online gaming and 3D video streaming. The Belkin ScreenCast AV4 can connect your home theatre equipment to your HDTV and keeps devices out of sight. It can connect four HDMI AV devices, Blu-ray player, gaming consoles and others wirelessly. The Belkin ScreenCast AV4 will be available in May this year, while the N900 advanced wireless dual-band N+ router will be available soon.
