BIOSTAR MICROTECH INT’L CORP., professional manufacturer of motherboards and major motherboard supplier to the PC industry, has unveiled its T-Power "TA870+" and "TA870" motherboards. Both AM3 boards are built on the 870X + SB850 chipsets and feature 5 phase PWM, 100% X.D.C. solid capacitors, four DDR3 -1800 slots, Gigabit Ethernet, two PCI-Ee x16 slots, four expansion slots, *GTO 6³, **BIO-unlocKING and ***BIO-Remote functions.

The TA870+ boasts 7.1 channel audio, on-board eSATA 2.0, one eSATA port, FireWire, six USB 2.0 ports and five SATA III ports, whilst the TA870 has 5.1 audio, four USB 2.0 ports and six SATA III connectors. Pricing and availability has not been announced yet so stay tuned for more updates.

 
*GTO 63 – Allows 60%+ overclocking capability on CPU frequency; it also supports true SATA 6Gbps for fast data transfer rate; and fully compatible with AMD Phenom II x 6 core processors.

**BIO-unlocKING – Provides the ease of use and flexibility to unlock extra core(s) for achieving greater performance at lower cost.

***BIO-Remote – On-board Consumer IR header and optional “remote controller” certified by Microsoft makes a perfect combination for your in-home entertainments.
