BIOSTAR “BIO-unlocKING” on AMD 8xx chipset

According to AMD official announcement earlier that the new South Bridge SB850 does not support ACC function; but today BIOSTAR has once again shown its R&D capability to the public while no other motherboard manufacture can do.

   

“BIO-unlocKING” technology is designed to activate ACC function on AMD processors. Users are able to unlock the extra core(s) from this function which offers higher performance with lower cost. BIOSTAR now provides the easiest way for users who are not familiar with BIOS setting, to enable the ACC function and unlock extra 3rd or 4th core with a super-simple 1 click.

During the post screen, you are able to unlock the 4th core simply press “F4” or unlock the 3rd core press “F3”. “BIO-unlocKING” will automatically enable your ACC function and unlock the extra core(s) for user in BIOS setting. Once see the logo of “CPU Level up”, you are successful to unlock those extra core(s).  

“BIO-unlocKING” technology not only gives you amazing overclocking capability in CPU frequency, it also provides a stable and smooth system environment.
