The Blu-ray standards have been upgraded as the Blu-ray Disc Association
introduces 2 new standards. BDXL, that supports 128 GB or
100 GB capacities for write-once and rewritable options respectively for
Blu-ray discs and also a new format.

The other new format is the IH-BD (Intra-Hybrid discs) that is a single BD-ROM layer
and a single BD-RE layer each offering 25 GB of capacity.

The new formats should be ready in the coming months as for new hardware to play and record these formats.
