Bomberman spinoff hits the web with 1,000 players per game MMO

Remember the classic SNES game Bomberman? Of course you do, you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t know what Bomberman was.  In any case, a new spinoff of the throwback SNES hit is hitting the web, and will allow up to 1,000 bombers to play against each other at once.

The game is called “Bombermine”, and is essentially a remake of Bomberman, but with the added feature of which you can trick n’ trap 999 other bomber-wannabes.  Bombermine borrowed Bomberman game elements such as the score-sheet setup, as well as the grid layout used to plant the explosives.

Beta servers are now up in Europe, US, and Japan, so if you want to take a quick stroll down memory lane go ahead and sign up, or just jump in and play.
