Japan based Buffalo is preparing its RUF3-SS flash-drives for release.


Measuring 76 x 9 x 19mm and weighing a mere 12g, these ultra-compact flash drives feature an USB 3.0 interface and support data transfer rates up to 71Mb/s (USB 3.0) or 44Mb/s (USB 2.0). Available in capacities of 8Gb, 16Gb, 32Gb and 64Gb, they are covered by a one year warranty and are expected to hit store shelves in Japan come December at MSRPs of USD 34 (8Gb), USD 60 (16Gb), USD 113 (32Gb), and USD 213 (64Gb).
