‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ will feature dedicated servers, PC requirements detailed
Infinity Ward has confirmed that the game will come with dedicated servers on all platforms, and has detailed the minimum system requirements.
Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature dedicated servers on all platforms, according to a tweet sent out by the game’s producer Mark Rubin. He also said that the game will feature listen servers in addition to the dedicated servers.
“No matter where you are, the game will always be trying to give you the best online performance possible,” he is quoted as saying.

He said that the PC version might feature mods in the future, and that rentable ranked servers will be available after the launch of the game.
The system requirements for the game are also out, and they are quite high. Here’s the minimum configuration needed to run the game:
- Windows 7 64-bit / Windows 8 64-bit
- Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ / AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better
- 6 GB RAM
- 50 GB HDD storage
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better
- DirectX 11
- DirectX Compatible Sound Card
- Connectivity to Internet for activation, as well as a broadband connection for multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launching November 5 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U. The game will make its way to the PlayStation 4 on November 15 and the Xbox One on November 22.
