Canon Singapore launches 23 imaging products for consumer and enterprise markets
Canon Singapore had a massive product launch for the second half of 2011 today, with 23 imaging products ranging from printers to projectors and digital cameras. And no, the company did not reveal any Canon mirrorless camera, despite Nikon unveiling theirs last week.

The Canon PowerShot S100 compact digital camera was among the 23 products that were showcased at the event. The successor to the popular S95 comes in black or silver, and now comes with a grip for better handling. The Canon PowerShot S100 will be available in early November, with pricing details to be announced closer to availability date.
Incorporating the enhanced HS system and new DIGIC 5 image processor, the PowerShot S100 features a high-sensitively 12.1-Megapixel 1/1.7-type CMOS image sensor that can capture superb quality images even under low light situation. In addition, the camera also comes with integrated GPS unit that can record location into a picture’s EXIF data.
Canon also unveiled the latest range of PIXMA printers which include the MG2170, MG3170, MG4170, MG5370, MG6270, MG8270 and the single function iP4970 with the improved Full HD Movie Print feature and Fun Filters. Users can also leverage the improved wireless printing capabilities to print directly from their iPhones and iPads with Apple’s AirPrint technology, or directly from their web albums with the Pixma Cloud Link.
