Canon Singapore today unveiled five compact cameras, one compact photo printer, one HD video camcorder and one digital SLR camera. The new products which include the PowerShot G12, LEGRIA HF M32 camcorder, EOS 60D digital SLR are available this month.
Andrew Koh, Director and General Manager of Consumer Imaging and Information Division, Canon Singapore, gave an opening speech and introduced the new products.
Of the many products, we managed to take a closer look at the EOS 60D, the successor to the popular EOS 50D. The camera body feels very sturdy and weighs 755g.
On the left are the microphone, HDMI and A/V out, and also remote control connector.
From the top, the camera has the standard layout of the mode dial (on the left), hot shoe, front dial, shutter, LED display and the various setting buttons.
The 3-inch Vari-Angle Clear View LCD screen lets you takes pictures and videos from almost any angle.
The SD card slot is on the right and supports SDXC memory cards of up to 2TB storage.
The 60D is also capable of shooting in Full High Definition 1080p resolution (1920×1080) at 25fps.
Pricing and availability
The Canon PowerShot S95 and PowerShot SX130 is now available at all authorised Canon dealers at the recommended retail price of S$669 and S$399 respectively.
Available in silver, brown and pink, the Canon IXUS 1000 HS will be available from end September 2010 at the recommended retail price of S$599.
The Canon SELPHY CP800 is now available at a recommended retail price of S$199, while the LEGRIA HF M32 camcorder will be available from end September at S$1,999.
The new Canon PowerShot SX30 IS and PowerShot G12 will be available from end September. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
