Today ARCTIC released their latest graphics card cooler, the Accelero Hybrid 7970. As the name suggests, the innovative cooler is a hybrid between a closed-loop watercooling system and a normal 120mm fan, with the watercooler taking care of the graphics card's core cooling needs while the 120mm fan is cooling the RAM and VR chips.
Here's a heartening story: upon hearing that replacing the thermal grease in your spanking new Ivy Bridge processor will make it run cooler, one DIY shop in Akihabara has taken it upon themselves to show patrons how it's done – by providing a mock-up made of copper for them to practice with, and offering a 1,000
Overclocking expert k|ngp|n has been tinkering a lot with his EVGA GTX 680 SC card lately and recently reported his result of a whopping 1957MHz on the core using extreme cooling measures.
Even though AMD launched Radeon HD 7970 back in December 22, 2011, it took Sapphire months to perfect their completely custom design in order to create the ultimate HD 7970: Meet the new Sapphire Toxic HD 7970.

Asetek launched their concept of liquid cooling for high density servers to be used in datacenters. The idea of server liquid cooling in datacenters is as old as the datacenter itself, but this time we're approaching the tipping point.
We at VR-Zone test many combinations of motherboards and CPU platforms throughout the year, often demanding quick assembly/disassembly of heatsinks and decent air cooling performance in order to maximize overclocks in the shortest possible time. One CPU cooler (among many on our shelves) that we prefer to use in particular, is the Thermalright Silver Arrow.
Cooler Master has announced three new CPU coolers, the tower-styled Hyper 612 PWM and Hyper 612S, and the down-draft GeminII S524. These coolers are compatible with Intel's LGA 775, 1155 and 1366 sockets and AMD's Socket AM2 through AM3+, including the latest FM1.
One of the shops in Japan, Overclock Works, did a demonstration for overclockers using extreme cooling on AMD Llano A8-3850 CPU with GIGABYTE GA-A75-UD4H motherboard and achieved a CPU frequency of 4.9GHz. Read on.
