VR-Zone is in Las Vegas for the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week. We managed to have a quick tour of the convention centre and here are some of the highlights.
Despite being the software giant's last participation, Microsoft has a huge presence at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012. The company showcased their popular Kinect for Xbox (and Windows); Windows-based products including Ultrabooks and Windows Phones; as well as a demo on the various features off the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.
At the Motorola's booth, we spotted a MOTOACTV device, which is both a fitness tracker and a smart music player, designed for athletes. Announced In November last year, the MOTOACTV claims to be equipped with GPS tracker and can track time, distance, pace and elevation; measures daily step cpunt and calories burnt, as well as synchronize to fitness-tracking website wirelessly and automatically.
The company has also announced th new Motorola DROID 4, the thinnest and most powerful 4G smartphone with QWERTY slide-out keyboard for ease of typing. The phone also comes with high definition camera and webcam that can capture pictures and videos in great clarity. With MotoCast, it provides infinite access to music, videos and photos that have been saved to the remote PC.
