Introduction:

The
word “Overclocking” is probably of the most widely
used technology term which doesn’t even exists in
the dictionary. It is actually a very simple
concept whereby the system components are made to
run above their rated specifications. Over the
years, people have already been trying to
overclock their systems to obtain better
performance and till today, the concept of
overclocking remains unchanged but only the degree
of overclocking has intensified much. As such,
different group of overclockers have existed and
their overclocking and cooling methods are
somewhat different.

The
most widely used cooling is definitely air which
most overclockers do and for years, cooler
manufacturers have been trying to improve on their
cooler designs as processors get hotter. Air
cooling is still the most cost effective and
convenience cooling method that you can employ for
overclocking but of course heat is always the
issue facing by many overclockers employing this
method. To solve the heat problem, there are a
considerable number of overclockers who have
already went water cooling and peltiers to gain
extra Mhz out of their processors and indeed it

    bus, the Prometeia is now capable of handling a

    heating wires and elements to ensure optimal
    cooling capacity without risking condensation


  • Lower noise operation
    – With the
    implementation of new fans, the Mach II will
    have a noise level around 3-4 dB lower than
    before, at normal operation. In addition, the Mach
    II is equipped with adjustable fan speed via
    Windows user interface, which will minimize the
    noise level even further (low Noise settings).


  • Highly improved start-up procedure
    – Reduced
    overall startup-time with 2-3 minutes, enabling
    the Mach II to reach boot temperature -33 degrees
    in about 3 minutes. This can be further improved
    by choosing a higher boot temperature in the user
    interface. The new control system will prevent the
    CPU from getting powered until the desired boot
    temperature is reached


  • Windows® based user interface
    – The Mach II
    comes with a new user interface which allows users
    to monitor as well as change a variety of system
    parameters. You can change/view settings for:
    fans, boot temperature, display text, errors,

Chip Con offers two versions of EasyMod CPU Kits
for use with Intel and AMD processors that can be fitted on
various types of motherboards. To check out which motherboards are

There is a upper
mounting bracket to mount the microfreezer on and also the rear
cover with heating element to prevent condensation. Rolls of seal
string are provided to be applied between motherboard, mounting
bracket and Microfreezer to create the Hermetic Cell to prevent
moisture from entering any part of the cell. This completely eliminates condensation and water
built-up.
