Once loaded, users can easily edit, organise or make movies with music, and then share their videos by emailing friends and family, or publish videos directly to YouTube or MySpace.
Flip for Good
As part of the unveiling of the Flip brand and Flip MinoHD, Cisco has also announced the first “Flip for Good” initiative for Asia Pacific to start off in Singapore with plans to expand it to Oceania and other parts of Southeast Asia in the next 12 months. Originally launched in 2007, the programme is a donor-matching initiative designed to put the power of online video sharing to work for non-profit organisations worldwide to help achieve their goals. At the launch of the programme, Cisco announced special projects with Habitat for Humanity and World Vision Singapore. The company also named Nathaniel “Nat” Ho as the first Flip for Good ambassador for Singapore.
The programme worldwide has supported more than 1,200 charitable organisations working across a diverse set of causes including youth development, poverty alleviation, conservation, and more. It aims to empower individuals and social entrepreneurs to use their social influence and outreach to help share moving stories and change the world.
