GDR3 will also bring new features like Driving Mode, which mutes key features likes texts and calls when the device is connected via Bluetooth to a car. Multitasking has also been enhanced, and there is a screen rotation lock.
On the hardware front, the Lumia 1520 is allegedly going to feature a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of ROM and a micro-SD card slot. The Lumia 1520 has been rumoured to come with a camera that is similar to the one seen on the Lumia 925.
The device will likely be announced by Nokia on September 26th, during which the manufacturer will also showcase the new 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet.
