The new Nokia 603 is equipped with the latest Symbian Belle operating system and with the Nokia Luna Bluetooth headset, both aim to bring Near Field Communication (NFC) to mass market. The Nokia 603 smartphone and Luna Bluetooth headset are scheduled to be available in Q4 this year.
Nokia has announced their new colourful and affordable Nokia 603 which is preloaded with the latest apps and featuring single-tap pairing, sharing and tag reading with Near Field Communication (NFC). The company also unveiled the Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset to use with the Nokia 603 that lets user pair easily via NFC technology. Designed to appeal to first time smartphone users and those upgrading from older products, the Nokia 603 offers the latest technologies and features in a package that is extensive, affordable and unique to the company.
The Nokia 603 has a seamless, compact design and has a durable 3.5-inch ClearBlack, scratch-resistant display that is optimized for use even under bright sunlight. Priced at EUR200 (before taxes and subsidies), the Nokia 603 comes preloaded with Maps, latest social networking games and apps, and the ability to capture, edit and share photographs. It also features the latest Symbian Belle software with up to six customizable homescreens and dynamic live widgets for improved personalization and prioritization of your favourite content.
The Nokia 603 is available in black and white with a choice of back covers in six different colors: black, white, fuchsia, green, yellow and blue. The Nokia Luna Bluetooth Headset is available in black, white, fuchsia, green and cyan. Both products are expected to start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2011.
