Founded in 2004, Raptor Gaming has been in the business of making gaming peripherals such as gaming-grade mice, keyboards, headsets, mouse-pads, gamepads, and related accessories. Some of its most popular products include the palm grip-oriented M4 mouse, K3 keyboard, and H5 headset.

Apart from an expanded product line, the acquisition of Raptor Gaming gives Corsair access to its established ties with European retail majors such as Media Markt, Saturn, Real, Kaufland, and Conrad, while taking Raptor Gaming's products to markets never been before, markets where Corsair has a strong presence. In Asia, for example, Raptor's products are only available in Taiwan, where they are manufactured. It's quite likely that the new product line could be extended to markets such as Singapore.

In addition to retail ties, Corsair hopes to rope in the various gaming clans associated with Raptor Gaming. "Corsair and Raptor share the same goal, bringing best-in-class PC hardware to gamers around the world," said Andy Paul, President and CEO of Corsair. "Raptor Gaming's strong retail presence will allow us to offer a wider range of PC hardware to gamers across Germany."
