Creative X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity Card In August

We heard that the new Creative soundcard based on the X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity
audio processor will be launched some time in August. According to

, X-Fi has been in development for the last 5 years at their
Advanced Technology Center in California and it is based on 0.13 micron process
containing 51.1M transistors. The X-Fi features EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 with 128
voice support, EAX MacroFX, EAX PurePath & Environment FlexiFX as well as 24-bit
Crystalizer that converts the gaming audio into 24-bit quality. Interestingly,
we heard that Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel will be involved in launching Creative
X-Fi together to boost up the hype targeted at gamers.
