CyanogenMod 10.1 to bring new camera features to Sony Xperia 2012-13 devices
Looks like Sony Xperia Smartphones will get some special treatment as new builds of CyanogenMod 10.1 will bring new camera features to the high-end Xperia devices.
Sony Smartphone owners who like to play around with their device, unlock the bootloader, install custom ROMs such as Cyanogen Mod 10.1, you guys are in for a treat. The CyanogenMod team announced that they will be bringing new, exclusive camera features to high-end Sony Xperia Smartphones in the future CM10.1 builds.
The team has been working hard to bring the newer Xperia device’s cameras up to speed, and made great progress on standing up more of the advanced features.
In addition to the below, plans are to incorporate shutter speed and HDR Video functionality.
The CM10.1 builds are maintained by a team that call themselves Free Xperia Project, more popularly known as FXP. Their newest build, FXP 225, scheduled for release within the next few days, has the following changelog attached to it:
CM10.1 for Xperia 2012/2013 Xperia Device (T,V,Z,ZL,Tab Z LTE and Wifi)
* HDR (only picture)
* ISO modes
* Scene modes
* Sony’s image/video stablization
