Darksiders II PC Requirements Revealed

The system requirements for Darksiders II, which releases August 14, have been revealed.

If you’ve been wondering what it will take to run Darksiders II on your PC, your days of wondering are over. The system requirements were released today, and we’ve got them.

Minimum Specs:

  • OS – Windows XP, Windows Vista SP1 or Windows 7
  • Processor – 2.0Ghz Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor or AMD equivalent
  • RAM –2GB
  • Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
  • Video Card – NVIDIA 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
  • Online Steam account

Recommended Specs:

  • Processor – Any Quad-core AMD or Intel Processor
  • RAM –2GB
  • Hard Drive – 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)
  • Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 512MB Video Card or AMD equivalent
  • Online Steam account

Darksiders II releases for all platforms (except for the Wii U) on August 14th. Darksiders II is the sequel to the original Darksiders, which was an action game similar to the Zelda franchise which saw you play as the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, War, as you tried to take revenge for being tricked into causing the Apocalypse to come early. The sequel will place you in the shoes of the second Horseman, Death, as you try to uncover evidence that War has been tricked into starting the Apocalypse; the game takes place parallel to the first game, placing you in concurrent but separate events from the first game.
