While the Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 has yet to arrive in Singapore, the manufacturer has announced the Venue smartphone that runs Google Android mobile operating system. Unlike its QWERTY and touchscreen sibling, the Dell Venue is a full-touchscreen phone.

From the phone system information, the Dell Venue runs Android 2.2 (Froyo). No word as to whether if it will get the 2.3 (Gingerbread) update.

The Dell Venue has a switch on the left which lets you switch the phone to silent mode easily. The 3.5mm audio jack and power button are at the top, while the built-in camera is at the rear with the Dell emblem.

Opening the rear cover reveals the 1400mAh lithium-ion battery, a microSD card slot (with a SanDisk 8GB microSD card) and SIM card slot.

No pricing information available yet for both the Dell Venue and Dell Streak 7. But Dell says that both the tablet and smartphone will be available in the next couple of months.
