From some photos we have here, it looks like the goods have arrived. But when will the 30-inch UltraSharp U3011, successor to the 3008WFP be officially released?

More shots inside.

While the source of the photos are unknown, we are indeed looking at boxes of the upcoming Dell UltraSharp U3011.

Boxes aside, here is a working U3011 sample. Below is a shot of the U3011’s menu.

Apparently, the U3011 shares the same exterior outlook as the U2711.

While the U3011 has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and uses a S-IPS display panel, there is still no word on what is the contrast ratio, or color gamut support.

Like the U2410, the U3011 is factory color calibrated.

Here is an extract from the U3011’s INF file in a Dell driver file dated 23 July 2010:

Dell=”Dell Inc.”
diskname=”Dell Monitor installation disk”
U3011_Analog=”Dell U3011 (Analog)”
U3011_Digital=”Dell U3011 (Digital)”
U3011_HDMI=”Dell U3011 (HDMI)”
U3011_DP=”Dell U3011 (DP)”

While there are no specific dates set for the release of the UltraSharp U3011, we would expect it to be out by September 2010.
