We have seen DFI adding an AM3 board based on 790FX chipset earlier this month and now they are going to release another AM3 board later next month. This neat little board is based on mATX form factor sporting a 4-layer black PCB. It uses 790GX chipset supporting 45nm AM3 Phenom II processors and DDR3 800/1066/1333 DIMMs. It has 4 DIMM slots up to 8GB of memories and has an additional 128MB DDR3 SidePort memory support. We have seen DFI adding an AM3 board based on 790FX chipset earlier this month and now they are going to release another AM3 board later next month.

This neat little board is based on mATX form factor sporting a 4-layer black PCB. It uses 790GX chipset supporting 45nm AM3 Phenom II processors and DDR3 800/1066/1333 DIMMs. It has 4 DIMM slots up to 8GB of memories and has an additional 128MB DDR3 SidePort memory support.

There are 2 x16 PCIe 2.0 slots (x8 bandwidth) for supporting Crossfire and Hybrid Crossfire. There is a PCie x1 and PCI slot as well. The board supports 6 SATA 3Gbps ports, 12 USB 2.0 ports, Realtek ALC885 for 8CH HD audio, Marvell 8056 1GbE LAN.

The power department consists of 4-phase Vcore and 1 phase NB digital PWM. The BIOS allows the usual tweaking and tuning on Vdimm, Vnb, Vcore, Vsb, VHT, FSB, Multiplier etc.
