DRAM eTT prices rise 20%

The spot price for effectively tested (eTT) DRAM chips recently jumped 22% from US$ 1.80 to US$ 2.20, mainly due to stronger demand from China, according to DRAM distributors.

Demand for the segment recently started to pick up significantly, as buyers in China are purchasing more eTT chips for the upcoming national holidays, the distributors said.

The eTT market has recently seen dramatic fluctuations, with the price jumping from the US$ 2.00 level in late March to US$ 2.49 early this month, before falling back below US$ 2.00 recently.
