"Battlefield fans –
The team at DICE is hard at work on the next entry in the Battlefield series. While there is no further Battlefield 4 news at this point – remember, if you don’t see it published here, it’s just rumor and speculation – we did want to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts on the state of the Battlefield franchise.
We are extremely proud of Battlefield 3, and with millions of fans out there, we’re happy you’re enjoying it too. When we launched the game, we introduced unparalleled levels of in-game destruction, all-out vehicle warfare and redefined online gameplay. Even with billions of bullets fired and millions of games played, we know the Battlefield 3 story is still just the beginning.
As ever, we are humbled by the community’s response to the game, and couldn’t be happier with the feedback we have received to Battlefield 3 Premium. With the first four expansion packs already out, and End Game just around the corner, we’re looking forward to the many more hours of gameplay with you, and can’t wait to see the stories you will tell through Battlelog and player-created videos.
But we’re not ready to talk about Battlefield 4 yet – in the meantime, we hope you will continue to enjoy Battlefield 3 and all the Battlefield 3 Premium content still to come. We’d also like to invite you to expand your Battlefield by taking a look at the Origin Sale that’s currently going on. You can receive up to 75% off on the best Battlefield games. Check out the sale here!
See you on the battlefield!"
EA showing off Battlefield 4 to game retailers, offering huge sale on Origin
EA has recently began showing off the upcoming fourth chapter in their award-winning Battlefield franchise to retailers such as GameStop, as well as a new update from EA's official Origin marketplace.
EA has already begun to pull back the curtains on Battlefield 4, the next installment in their award-winning military FPS franchise that has gone head-to-head with Activision's juggernaut Call of Duty franchise.
Gamestop's CEO J. Paul Raines has recently tweeted on the retailer's official Twitter account that he was given a sneak peak of Battlefield 4, and that the game is impressive to say the least.
Additionally, EA has confirmed that Battlefield 4 is coming via a recent tweet on their Origin client, and is celebrating with a huge sale on "everything Battlefield".
Additionally, the team at DICE has provided an update on the official Battlefield website, which lightly discusses the Battlefield 4 Beta. Basically the team isn't ready to talk about the upcoming game, and below you can find an excerpt of the update.
The Battlefield sale offers discounts of up to -75% off on everything in the expansive franchise, including every game within the series in deluxe and premium flavors.
