Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that it will be bringing an online version of its popular FIFA sports franchise to South Korea.

Developed by EA Seoul Studio and published by Nexon, FIFA Online 3 will give players as authentic a football experience as possible, with over 15,000 real-world players, 30 leagues and 40 national teams to choose from.

The game also adds a slew of new and improved features, such as improved AI, enhanced animation and graphics, and a new 5-aside multiplayer competition.

FIFA Online launched in 2010, but servers were shut down in March of last year. Its predecessor launched in South Korea in 2006 as “FIFA Online,” but was since renamed FIFA Online 2, despite it being the older of the two games.

The other FIFA Online games are “free-to-play,” which means that anyone can download and play, though some features need to be paid for to be unlocked. This will likely be the same for FIFA Online 3.

The game will launch for PC on 13 August.
