Medal of Honor: Warfighter, due in October, lets players experience what it's like to be some of the most elite soldiers in the US army, tying in gameplay with real-life terrorist activity, with Tier 1 operators available in multiplayer.

A new SimCity game, using the GlassBox simulation engine, is coming in February 2013, featuring more city-building, with the added functionality of connecting with friends and facing “real-world challenges,” which likely involve things like traffic congestion, pollution, crime and disasters.

Star Wars: The Old Republic has suffered some bad publicity recently, with subscriptions falling from 1.7 million users to 1.2 million, and staff layoffs and server merges ensuing. EA and BioWare are still promising a lot for the remaining playerbase, however, including more PvP, more end-game group content, new social features, and new storylines. Update 1.3, featuring a group finder, is just around the corner.
