Not only is Eagle 8600GT one of the highest clocked 8600GT around, at 650MHz
Core, only 25MHz lower than the reference GTS clock, and 850MHz Memory; it comes
with one of the best custom-cooler in the 8600GT market, yielding lower than comeptition temperature. The surprise was in the Memory: Samsung K4J52324QE-BJ1A 1.0ns Memory!
The rest of the 8600GT we have seen come with 1.4ns to 1.3ns Memory, while
this one comes with 1.0ns, with a rated speed of 1000MHz, 150MHz higher than
what the card runs them at. More details and simple Pencil Mods in article…

Not only is Eagle 8600GT one of the highest clocked 8600GT around, at 650MHz
Core, only 25MHz lower than the reference GTS clock, and 850MHz Memory; it comes
with one of the best custom-cooler in the 8600GT market.

When we removed the cooler, we saw that it was a pretty
over-the-hill solution, with 3 copper heatpipes running out from a copper base.

But the surprise was in the Memory: Samsung K4J52324QE-BJ1A 1.0ns Memory!
The rest of the 8600GT we have seen come with 1.4ns to 1.3ns Memory, while
this one comes with 1.0ns, with a rated speed of 1000MHz, 150MHz higher than
what the card runs them at.

The temperature of the card seems to be lowest:

38C compared to 41C on the Palit 8600GT and 46C on the Inno3D
8600GT.

Default 3D Mark 06 yielded 5496, compared to 4680 on Inno3D
8600GT and 5112 on Palit 8600GT.

Without any mods, it hit 5816, with 700MHz Core, 900MHz
