ECS has, thankfully, stuck to a simple but tasteful colour scheme for this motherboard.

There should be no problem installing third party heatsinks on this motherboard, given the large amount of clearance around the CPU socket.

Other than the CPU fan header, there is only a single 3-pin fan header on the H61H2-M. The PCH gets the usual tiny heatsink treatment.

ECS has opted for a combination of new and old – two PCI slots and one PCIe x1 slot. This should be sufficient for any old add-on cards that refuse to go away. The downside of this layout is that the PCIe x1 slot will be blocked by a double slot graphics card.

Despite not being angled 90 degrees, the four SATA ports have been smartly positioned to avoid any conflict with long graphics cards.
