Slovenia based EK Water Blocks is preparing to release eight water blocks (four for GTX 470 & four for GTX 480) for nVidia’s GTX 400 series of graphic solutions.

All eight water blocks are of a “full coverage monolithic design” made with different materials. Monolithic full-coverage water blocks cool all components on the PCB (GPU, memory & VRM) and dissipate the heat via “wavy copper ridges”. The EK-FC470 GTX/ Acetal and EK-FC480 GTX/ Acetal are basic copper-based water blocks with clear acrylic tops/ acetal tops. The EK-FC470 GTX Nickel/ + Acetal and EK-FC480 GTX Nickel/ + Acetal are nickel-plated copper blocks with clear acrylic tops/ acetal tops.
