Epson Talks About Making Cents, Releases Six New Inkjet Printers
Epson ME Office 960FWD
Being designed for office use, the Epson ME Office 960FWD also comes with a wide variety of built-in connectivity features. In addition to it being capable of connecting to computers via WiFi, Ethernet, the printer is also capable of functioning as a fax machine if such a need arises.
Last but not least, Epson claims that the ME Office 960FWD is capable of producing printouts at a maximum resolution of up to 5760 x 1440 dpi. This is a trait common to all the newly launched ME series of printers.
Specs-wise, the Epson ME Office 900WD is almost identical to its beefier sibling, except that it loses the faxing capabilities and features a lower capacity loading tray (150 sheets vs the 960FWD’s 250 sheets).
In addition, the ME Office 620F sports slightly lower specifications as well: printing speed is slightly slower on the 620F, with a max speed of up to 34ppm as opposed to the 960FWD and 900WD’s 38ppm. The front-loading tray has also been removed, although the 620F still comes with a 30-sheet auto document feeder at the top of the unit.
In addition to the capability of producing printouts at a resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, Epson claims that the ME320 can also achieve speeds of up to 28ppm. Lastly, the ME320 will also come bundled with Epson Creativity Suite, an easy-to-use photo editing software which allows for simple touchups and enhancements.
