27 August 2010 – ESET today announced the official opening of its Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore.
 
The establishment of ESET’s regional headquarters in Singapore is part of the company’s overall plan to further strengthen its rapidly expanding global distribution and customer support network as well as drive innovative product development growth in Asia – the world’s fastest developing markets for IT security solutions.
 
ESET currently has more than 11 exclusive distributors across 17 markets in Asia-Pacific.  Built on the groundbreaking ThreatSense engine, ESET’s suite of innovative security software products is recognized as one of the fastest and most effective in the industry, as affirmed by a host of international industry awards.  The establishment of the Asia-Pacific headquarters will enable the company to increase its marketing and sales outreach for its ESET range of security solutions as well as tailor its product development and support for distribution partners and users across the region.

A celebratory launch with ESET’s global senior management team and its Asia-Pacific distributors was held at its new Asia-Pacific headquarters, located at Robinson Centre in Singapore, on 26 August 2010.
