EVGA has unveiled its GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 Hydro Copper FTW cards, claiming to drastically reduce operation temperatures
twofold.

Certainly an impressive achievement considering that that the stock GTX
480 runs at 95 degrees Celsius whilst EVGA’s GeForce GTX 480 Hydro
Copper only reached 49 degrees Celsius. The water-block features a
0.6×0.6mm thin pin matrix and a chrome plated electrolytic C110 copper
base plate. Backed by a lifetime warranty, the GeForce GTX 470 Hydro
Copper FTW can be had for around USD 500, whilst the GTX 480 Hydro
Copper FTW cost about USD 650. Availability has not been announced yet
so stay tuned for more updates.
