A dual SIM variant of the Nokia Lumia 720 might be on its way to market soon according to serial leakster evleaks, to kick off the dual SIM smartphone trend on Windows Phone 8.
Dual SIM devices are commonplace in many parts of the world, and despite having a product in every price bracket, Nokia has no dual SIM Windows Phone offerings. The dual SIM Lumia 720 should change that, and further eat away into the market share held by low-cost Android phones. Unfortunately, there’s no word on when the new variant might launch and in what markets.
Announced by Nokia in February, Lumia 720 comes with a 4.3-inch IPS ClearBlack WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 6.7-megapixel Carl Zeiss rear camera sensor, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card support, and a 2,000mAh battery. The handset’s dual SIM version should have similar specs, and probably a slightly higher price.
Dual-SIM Lumia 720 may be on the way.
