Facebook Sued

WhoGlue Inc., a small Baltimore tech company founded in 2000, is suing Facebook for infringing on a key patent it holds on “facilitating communications between user members of an online network.” If WhoGlue gets its way, the patent infringement case may potentially hurt the online social networking giant’s business but most importantly, similar social networking sites like Friendster will be affected. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope Facebook gets a favourable verdict.
