Fujitsu Lifebook NH751 gaming notebook review
Fujitsu may be one of the more popular brands for notebook PCs here, and while their products usually span the entire gamut of possible hardware configurations ranging from entry-level machines to mainstream-grade notebooks, it does not change the fact that the company has never released a high-performance, gaming-grade notebook for sale in Singapore. That is all set to change though, now that Fujitsu has officially released its 17-inch Lifebook NH751 gaming and multimedia entertainment notebook for sale locally. But will it be able to perform well enough to handle the demands of today's 3D games and high-quality multimedia content?
Read on to find out...
As it stands, there appears to be two approaches available for OEMs who seek to build a notebook that is designed specifically to cater to the needs of gamers. Apparently, they could go for portability by offering a smaller-sized notebook which features a more conventional display size and "bulk" up the chassis so as to provide enough ventilation to ensure that the components do not overheat, or throw all notions of size out of the window by offering huge notebooks that have display sizes larger than 16 inches and leave any ventilation issues to the sheer amount of real estate present in the notebook's interior to handle.
Needless to say, there are no prizes for guessing which category Fujitsu's new Lifebook NH751 falls into. However, with the NH751 being the company's first gaming notebook to be made commercially available in Singapore, it would stand that consumers are likely to have high expectations of it, considering how gaming and entertainment notebooks are usually considered to be creme de la creme where performance is concerned. So how does Fujitsu's NH751 notebook fair when put under the blade? We shall see.
