Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturing company G.Skill is displaying its Phoenix II SSD series at Cebit, targeting hardcore enthusiasts.

G.Skill Showcases Phoenix II at Cebit 2011

Powered by the SandForce SF-2000 series chipset, the SSD was spotted at the booth connected to an AMD Phenom II X6 system chomping through a session of ATTO disk benchmark at data transfer rates up to 550Mb/s. Prices and availability has not been confirmed yet but the 120Gb variant has started selling in Europe at a MSRP of €299.
