The Galaxy Note 3 Neo looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 3 and costs about the same, with the device’s availability expected sometime later this quarter.

A Belgian retailer revealed to SamMobile that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is set to go on pre-order soon, and has managed to snag a few press images of the device. From the images, the device looks exactly like the Galaxy Note 3, with the same faux leather back finish and chrome trim around the sides of the device.

The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will feature a 5.55-inch 720p screen, 2 GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera, new Exynos hexa-core CPU with two cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and four at 1.3 GHz, 16 GB internal storage, micro-SD slot, LTE, NFC and a 3,100 mAh battery. The device is said to come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, but it remains to be seen whether it will run TouchWiz or Samsung’s new UI that was leaked earlier this week. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will also feature the same stylus and software additions like Air Command that we’ve seen on the original Galaxy Note 3.

The device is set to cost around $810 (€599) in the region, which is very high for a device that is a downgraded version of the Galaxy Note 3. It might likely be available for less in other territories. Samsung will allegedly launch the device sometime before the end of the first quarter, with an official announcement at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
