Galaxy Note II official announcement on August 15?

Rumor has it that Samsung may debut its Galaxy Note successor at the upcoming IFA, and according to The Verge, sources from within Samsung is telling the press to hold tight until August 15 for a “major announcement and unveiling of the newest Galaxy device."

Adding to the Note II rumors is a recent benchmark of a GT-N7100 device featuring a 1280 x 720 HD display, 1.6 GHz CPU (Exynos?), and Android 4.0.4. 

The Note II is unlikely to come with ICS out of the box, as Samsung has already announced that they intend to provide Jelly Bean upgrades for various devices.

Note:  The GT-N7100 has not been confirmed to be the Note II.
