A new report says that Samsung is yet to finalize the hardware specifications of their upcoming Galaxy Note III phablet flagship.
We told you so! Samsung is indeed working on multiple prototypes of the Galaxy Note III, all with slightly different hardware specifications. A new report citing the same only strengthens our belief. With a rumored September launch, its high time that Samsung gets their head right and picks their final Galaxy Note III hardware.
Test versions pack multiple screen sizes ranging from 5.68-5.7 inches to 5.99 inches. Display panel varieties include 1080p Super AMOLED and the new Flexible AMOLED display. Also, Sharp’s new energy-efficient IGZO 1080p panels are a strong contender. The chipset at the heart of the device would either be the Snapdragon 800 or an improved and faster Exynos 5 Octa SoC.
What we do know for sure is that the body build will be much like the Galaxy S4, with a similar design as well. A 1080p screen resolution is a 100% go, 2 or 3 GB of RAM to back up the chipset, a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.
