The Android tablet is designed to provide web browsing, social media, ebooks, gaming and multimedia playback for the users. But it looks like some chinese manufacturers are position the tablet as a portable gaming device/home console. Read on.

Yes, you heard right. This is the HaiPad (sounds similar to the Apple tablet device). The 7-inch tablet runs the Google Android 2.2 mobile operating system, weighs 400g, is powered by 1GHz Samsung CPU and features 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. If that's not sufficient, it also has a microSD card slot too.

You can play your favorite games on the 800×400 capacitive touch screen, or via a Playstation-style joypad that you can plug to the micro USB port. With a PlayStation emulator app for Android, you can have hours of enjoyment with old school games including Street Fighter, Super Mario or Resident Evil, although you have to make do with the 7-inch screen.

On top of that, you can use the HaiPad for video chat, ebook reading, web browsing and messaging on the tablet device. The HaiPad is available from 850 Yuan (US$130.85) to 1150 Yuan (US$177) depending on the shop.
