Garmin-Asus is set to release their first Android phone some time in Q1 2010, this smartphone joint venture is between GPS (global positioning system) device maker Garmin and PC vendor Asustek Computer (Asus).

Garmin-Asus is set to release their first Android phone some time in Q1 2010, this smartphone joint venture is between GPS (global positioning system) device maker Garmin and PC vendor Asustek Computer (Asus).

Garmin GPS technology will be used in the geotagging feature for photographs made using the handset, and will provide other location-based services.
