With Cedar Trail netbooks finally beginning to penetrate the market, Gateway (now subsidiary of Acer) is next in line with a listing on BestBuy for its LT4004U, a 10.1-inch unit using Intel's Atom N2600 processor.

Gateway's LT4004U Cedar Trail netbook now on sale

The LT4004U is priced at a respectable US $279.99 and as mentioned has a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED-backlit display and 1GB of RAM, 250GB (5400 RPM) HDD, multi-card reader, 100Mbit LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports and and a HDMI output.

The netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter installed and a 6-cell battery that is expected to provide up to 8 hours of use. It is covered by warranty for 1 year.
