DSCF0166 GIGABYTE @ Computex 2011: Motherboards, Graphics cards, Smartphones and more

Unlike most component manufacturers, GIGABYTE has opted to host its booth at Hall 1 of the Taiwan World Trade Centre, an area which is usually centered more on enterprise solutions as opposed to the more enthusiast-oriented Nangang. However, available at its booth are a wide range of familiar hardware which enthusiasts have come to know and love from the manufacturer, so read on to find out more about what GIGABYTE is showing off at this year's Computex…

GIGABYTE is out in full force with its Z68-based motherboards today; more than half of the motherboards stuck on display in the "motherboard wall" utilize that particular chipset.

That being said, this particular Z68 board was drawing a lot of attention to itself, thanks to the inclusion on an onboard mSATA SLC 331 SSD that sports a storage capacity of 20GB and is designed to work in conjunction with Intel's Smart Response performance tool.

Yet another Z68-based board up on display: the GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD5. Which, if you remember, was recently 'leaked' on our website a week ago. According to GIGABYTE, the Z68XP-UD5 sports an "industry-leading 20 phase power VRM design for optimum power efficiency", along with other standard features such as Intel Smart Response technology and support for 3-way SLI and CrossFireX.

AMD was also shown some love here in the form of the GA-990FXA-UD7 motherboard, which was launched and covered on our website a week ago:

On the flip side, GIGABYTE's graphics card lineup was a little more lackluster: it was mostly standard fare with various cards utilizing AMD's 6xxx and NVIDIA's 5xx series of GPUs.
