T1006M Gigabyte announces updated notebook, netbook and tablet at CES

We covered the T1132N in some detail back in towards the end of November and nothing appears to have changed since then. The T1006M is sort of the little brother to the T1132N and a refresh of the T1005P. The major upgrade here is to a Cedar Trail-M Atom processor, although Gigabyte hasn’t specified which model(s) the company is planning on fitting. All other features appear to be identical to the T1005P, including the 1366×768 resolution touch screen, USB 3.0 connectivity and the option to add your own 3G module.

S1081 Gigabyte announces updated notebook, netbook and tablet at CES

Next up we have the S1081, the successor of Gigabyte’s first Atom powered tablet the S1080 which is now close to a year old. Again the major upgrade here is the move to a Cedar Trail-M processor, although the hard drive has also been upgraded from 320 to 500GB and Gigabyte has updated the S1081 with Bluetooth 4.0 support. As with the S1080, Gigabyte will be offering a docking station for the S1081 with a built in optical drive and a wide range of connectivity options as well as a pair of speakers and two subwoofers.
