Since Gigabyte has canned their secret 975X project for a board
which is specially optimized for Kentsfield, they have poured in their R&D
effort onto the nForce 680i chipset instead. Previously known as GA-N55SLI-DQ6
and now officially named as GA-N680SLI-DQ6, this board sports 1333FSB support,
DDR2 1200MHz memory modules, all-solid capacitor design and Quad-Triple phase
power. The final version is expected to come with Gigabyte Silent-Pipe cooling
design. Oh yes, expect the overclocking potential of this board to be excellent
as well.
