Gionee Elife E5 packs a quad-core CPU, Super AMOLED display for under $350
Chinese phone maker Gionee has launched their new phone in India. Introducing the Gionee Elife E5 which packs a quad-core processor and a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, all under $350 or INR 19,999.
Gionee has launched their new high-end Smartphone in India. Dubbed the Gionee Elife E5, the biggest attractions of the new device is its powerful quad-core processor, a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display (perhaps the same as the Galaxy S3) and an attractive design that reminds us a lot of the Nokia Lumia series.
Gionee ELife E5 specifications:
- MediaTek MT6589T Chipset
- 1.5 GHz Quad-Core ARM Cortex A7 CPU
- PowerVR SGX544MP GPU
- 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Display
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 MP Rear Camera, 5 MP Full HD Front Camera
- 16 GB Internal Storage
- 6.85 mm Thickness
- 2000 mAh Battery
- Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean
The Gionee ELife E5 packs impressive specifications. We really have no complaints anywhere at all. A 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU, a 5 MP front facing camera (oo la la), and the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display would certainly be one of the key selling points, pulling away prospective Micromax Canvas 4 buyers away. Did we mention, the ELife E5 is the world’s slimmest Super AMOLED packing Smartphone, at just 6.85 mm. Perhaps the only downers are the 1 GB of RAM and a relatively small 2000 mAh battery.
Gionee ELife E5 is now on sale in India for INR 19,999, roughly about $350.
